Asthma & Anaphylaxis first aid course is designed to train participants on how to control asthma and anaphylaxis from intervention, identification, treatment and management of an emergency.
This course is an accredited training course of 4 hours which will not only provide knowledge of the underlying causes of asthma, the triggers, recognition and treatment of an asthma attack but also the knowledge and skills required to assist a person suffering an anaphylactic reaction using the casualty’s own adrenalin device (epipen) until the arrival of medical assistance.
This course is basically a combination of:
a) 22282VIC Course in the Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies in the Workplace and
b) 22300VIC Course in first aid management of anaphylaxis .
